The 2008 Democratic National Convention will be held from Monday,
Aug 25, through Thursday, Aug 28, 2008, in Denver and will nominate
officialy the democratic candidate - However the frontrunner will be
known after February 5, 2008, when half of the United States' population is moving to hold primaries

Democratic Party nomination - national poll trends
Obama and Clinton are the frontrunners
and Edwards the main outsider - The total of other candidates has
dropped from 35 to 20%, which tends to confirm that democratic
party primaries will nominate one of the three (Clinton, Obama or
Edwards). Clinton was far ahead from July to November but Obama
seems to gain on her in the last weeks. Latest Iowa state polls even
show him as the frontrunner...
